The Watch

A father before he died said to his son:

“This is a watch your grandfather gave me,

It’s more than 200 years old.

But before I give it to you,

Go to the watch shop on the first street,

Tell him I want to sell it, and see how much he offers you.”

He went, and then came back to his father, and said,

“The watchmaker offered $100 because it’s old. “ He said to him: “Go to the coffee shop. “ He went and then came back,

And said: “He offered $20 father. “

“Go to the museum and show them that watch. “

He went then came back, and said to his father

“They offered me $2 million for this piece."

The father said: “I wanted to let you know that the right place values you in the right way.

Don’t find yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you’re not valued.

Those that know your value are those who appreciate you, don’t stay in a place where nobody sees your value. “

Know your worth.

(This story is a great story I heard, that is not written by me but below is my thoughts on this story)

This is a wonderful story because like the watch you are valuable, important and should always be treated that way.

The watch was worth a million but watchmaker and the coffee shop didn't know its worth.

There are people in life that will treat you like you are worthless, use and abuse you but know you deserve to be treated well.

The creator of everything knows and loves you.

God loves you and calls you His masterpiece.

So don't doubt your worth because some can't see how amazing you are,

You will find people who will see the beauty that is within you.

My prayer for you is that you will be happy, loved and treasured like you deserve.
